Motorola Triumph Available July 20th around $300?

If contracts aren’t your thing, but you still want a big boy phone, you’re not alone! A fair share of people have been checking for the Motorola Triumph since it was announced a few weeks back. Thanks to a press release from Virgin about their new service plan rates (something we already told you about), we now know the Motorola Triumph will be releasing on July 20th. However the release didn’t give up the goods on the price. Our friends over at AndroidCentral suggest a price of $300, which does make sense. With a release date one week away, we’d expect to hear something official soon. For a quick refresher of what the Triumph brings to the table, take a look at its specs:
- 4.1-in. WVGA display
- 1400 mAh battery
- 5MP Camera with Flash and 2nd Front-facing camera (VGA)
- 1GHz processor
- Android 2.2
Sure it may not stomp with the big dogs that require a contract, but when compared to other prepaid devices, it’s a big fish in a small pond. Hopefully the Triumph will set the tone for things to come, because prepaid customers need love too!
