SBF for Motorola Photon 4G Now Available

Hacking and modding can be a dangerous game, and sometimes you can end up with a phone that’s more useful for building a brick wall rather than making a call. It’s nice to have something to fall back on if you happen to make a mistake, a System Boot File (SBF) is that back-up. Like a boot disk for a PC, the SBF is a file that will bring your phone back to it’s factory default software. Up until now the dev community has been riskily playing without a safety net, thanks to XDA that’s no longer necessary.
Follow the link below for download links and full instructions. Also note that the SBF will remove root access, but it will be easily attainable again after the update. Enjoy!

This isn’t necessarily a System Restore File that you linked to…it’s a leaked release of MR3.
Can you explain what you mean? What’s the difference?
The linked file isn’t a backup file that you can flash in case things go awry, it’s a leaked release, meaning that it in itself might be buggy.
The SBF file is included in the MR download.
Yes, but the SBF file is MR3.
Right. That’s the best we can do right now, and it’s better than having no SBF at all.
