New iPhone 4 Appears in Apple’s Inventory System, is it for Sprint?

An interesting thing has been spotted in Apple’s inventory system, and it’s not an iPhone 5. In fact it’s two new SKUs marked as tweaked iPhone 4′s. The codename for the devices is N90A, which is very similar to the original iPhone 4 codename, N90. 9to5Mac mentions that this could be an 8GB model in white and black. However Sprint fans will wonder if this is an iPhone 4 destined for the Now Network. There was rumor a few weeks ago that said Sprint would only be getting the iPhone 4 in 2011, so it’s not too far out there to believe. Of course we’ll be hoping to get the same iPhone that everyone else gets, but an iPhone 4 is still a step in that direction.

It’s an iPhone 4S….S for Sprint…S for Sprintfeed
I can’t and won’t believe that Sprint has to wait til next year for the I5! That just puts a dent in Apple’s predicted huge 4 quarter revenues…….. Where’s Marty McFly’s Delorean when u need it mosts????? Can’t wait til next Tuesday……. Ugh.
I actually thought about getting an iPhone on Sprint, but only if its the iPhone 5. We’ll just have to wait and see.
If it’s just the same old iPhone 4 that’s been around for over a year, that would be like when Verizon got in in what, March? Some people will go for that, but if it’s only an 8GB model, forget it. Not for me. That takes me back to wondering if the Nexus Prime will be on Sprint by December 1st.
Even if it is only the 4 that’s still better than nothing. I’m just glad Sprint is getting an Apple product. If it is just an 4 I’m sure the 5 will come when everyone else gets it. I’ll definitely wait on the 5!!
Let us hope Sprint doesn’t spread it’s special sauce all over the iPhone. I’m rather sick of their unremovable “value added” software. Especially the added software between firmware updates. Sure I could root my phone and remove anything I wanted, but I shouldn’t have to violate my terms of service to remove software added by my carrier to MY DEVICE after I purchased it.
