Walmart Taking Pre-Orders for the Samsung Epic 4G Touch for $100

Posted In Deals - By Mark Hearn On Friday, September 9th, 2011 5:15pm PDT With 9 Comments

The wait is almost over! Samsung’s Epic 4G Touch is just one week away. If you’re among the masses waiting to get your hands on this Android powerhouse, why not save some cash? The people of Walmart (no not this website) are now taking new customer pre-orders for the Epic 4G Touch at a price of $99.99. That’s 10,000 pennies off of Sprint’s asking price. Now if you’re an existing customer with an eligible renewal, you’ll land the superphone for $154.99. Unless you know of a better deal (you better tell us if you do), we suggest you act fast. There’s no telling how long this bargain will be available.

    wirefly is cheaper for upgrades

  2. Bren says:

Do you know if you can do exchanges at walmarts though? That might tempt me to spend the extra 5 bucks

  3. True but price matching a brick and mortar is much easier then a *.com. Wirefly has a terrible reputation beyond the low prices, I wouldn’t risk it for $5.

  4. Mark you should thank your sources when a reader tips you the information.

  5. Jesse says:

He normally does, I tipped him about the evo shift for free on contract and he thanked me by name.

  6. Anonymous says:

Yeah wire fly is just terrible, plus they have some policy that says you can’t change your plan for 6 months after upgrading.

  7. Mark Hearn says:

I do, but I had my eye on this one early in the day, but was working on the Sprint blackout post. I apologize if you tipped this and I missed it, yesterday was extremely busy. I appreciate you reading the site and hope that you’re enjoying it.

Not so sure I want one now….

  9. Drew Poore says:

I was really excited about this phone, but since they made it even larger I have to check it out in person before I buy. I think they need to focus on resolution and not screen size in the future.
