Windows Phone Mango Rolling Out Next Week?

Posted In News - By Mark Hearn On Sunday, September 11th, 2011 3:47pm PST With 2 Comments

HTC Arrive owners rejoice! Word around the campfire is Windows Phone Mango is slated to release sometime next week! This tidbit comes from the Windows Phone Dev Podcast, which states that “various sources” have told them that the update is set to drop next week along with its final developer tools. This doesn’t give an exact date to expect an update for your HTC Arrive, but it definitely lines up with the widespread claims of Windows Phone Mango coming in September. We’re also taking into consideration that this group has a solid track record and were the first to release screenshots of Mango. We’re really hoping that this info pans out and opens the floodgates for second-generation Windows Phone 7 handsets on the Now Network. As for you HTC Arrive owners out there, we’d love to hear about your expectations for this highly anticipated update.

I’ve been syncing and checking via Zune software for a couple of days now. It sounds like the 27th is going to be the big Mango day for all if the big 4 U.S. carriers. Can’t wait!
