This tidbit comes from the Windows Phone Dev Podcast, which states that “various sources” have told them that the update is set to drop next week along with its final developer tools. This doesn’t give an exact date to expect an update for your HTC Arrive, but it definitely lines up with the widespread claims of Windows Phone Mango coming in September. We’re also taking into consideration that this group has a solid track record and were the first to release screenshots of Mango.We’re really hoping that this info pans out and opens the floodgates for second-generation Windows Phone 7 handsets on the Now Network.
