How Would You Change the iPhone 4S?

Posted In Polls - By Mark Hearn On Saturday, November 5th, 2011 9:44am PDT With 19 Comments

Almost three weeks to the day, Sprint released the iPhone 4S to an eager horde of Sprint customers. Looking at the iPhone 4S’ sales numbers it’s definitely been a mega-success, but this doesn’t mean that everyone that made the move to Apple’s new flagship phone is completely satisfied. Whether you took the plunge or decided to pass, we’d like to know how would you change the iPhone 4S? We’re expecting a couple of obvious things like: 4G and a larger screen, but after that it becomes more of a creative toss-up.

His love affair with the Now Network started with the release of the Treo 600 back in 2004 and has been going strong ever since. Highly opinionated and somewhat eccentric he shares his ramblings about his network of choice here at SprintFeed.

I would leave it as it is. It is so different from android that it makes a good alternative and people seem to like it. I personally wouldn’t get one because I am a fan of Widgets and what android has to offer.

For the love of god, make the battery user replaceable already!

  4. bri1856 says:

    Put WebOs on it!

Thank YOU … i agree. i personally love this phone the way it is that is the exact reason i got it.. i dont want 4g because at the end of the day 5seconds faster does NOT really matter my 3G on my iphone is fast as shit as it is. i do NOT want a replaceable battery because i dont need my phone falling apart everytime it falls off something… people want so much from this got damn phone but they dont realize its built to give you everything you want… if you feel like your gonna get more battery with an android GOOD LUCK.. n i mean that seriously .. if u feel like web 0s is gonna be around n relevant much longer … go for it switch over .. again GOOD luck .. where is the palm pre now exactly? i prefer my phone and my software and my battery to JUST WORK… thats all i ask.. n apple gave me just that… would i love the battery to last as long as my blackberry did .. hell yes but being that my blackberry was a dog with 2 tricks i understand why my battery lasted so long…

MMM…Put webOS in it and make it 4in display with a metal back! Also make it use an SD memory card so one can have the onboard memory plus some extra with the SD card. Oh and make it work with HSPA+ and WiMax (4G world phone) and put a Micro HDMI port. I think that’s it for now.

Dont get me wrong I do not like apple or what they do but I do like that their phones make people happy how they are. I dont like that the sue every thing that has 4 corners and makes a noise, I dont like them at all but so long as they, yet again i state, make people happy their fine for them.

As of today, I am an iPhone user and I love it completely. If you are looking for a phone with a godly battery, a easy to use keyboard and something not crap then don’t choose the damn android. While I admit widgets are nice they eat battery and the android phones are awful quality. At the end of the day. If I was to ask myself what would I change? My answer is Mabey add 4g but even then 4g isn’t that fast.

“i dont need my phone falling apart everytime it falls off something…”

This made me lol. My battery cover has never fallen off of my phone when I drop it, but I would expect an iPhone to shatter.

  10. Ricky Miller says:

“godly battery” Don’t lie, we know the 4S has a shit battery.
“4g isn’t that fast” I am getting at max 10 mbps through wimax on my Nexus S, normally around 2-3. Much faster then my 3g which at it’s highest is 1 mbps, normally around 250 kbps.

  11. Ricky Miller says:

Bigger screen (4-4.3″), wimax/lte/hspa+ radios (read one iPhone for all carriers), removable battery, aluminum back (iPad style), led notification, sd card slot, 1 GB ram (read future proof for newer iOS versions), better battery life. Oh, and no proprietary connectors (read micro usb).

I would not change it one bit…

  13. Trun says:

Spoken like a true Apple fanboy. Spouting phrases directly from marketing campaigns like “Just work.”

  14. Anonymous says:

Bigger screen, less bezel. More like the tear drop iPhone 5 prototype we have seen. Of course it wouldn’t hurt to put Android on it either! Or at least have it come pre jailbroken and flash enabled.

  15. Anonymous says:

Actually my galaxy s ii battery kills my old iPhones battery, I get almost 3 days off a charge and it’s removable.

  16. Anonymous says:

Add a Keyboard and make it a BlackBerry.

  17. Anonymous says:

Better to fall apart & be put back together than haver it shatter& go the a process to replace the xxx shattered back piece & if your lucky the front wouldn’t of shattered along with that back on its crash course.

  18. Lufe18 says:

my 3Gs gets just over 3mbps even with only 3 or 4 bars.
