How’s iOS 5.0.1 Treating Your iPhone?

Just a few days ago, new Sprint iPhone owners were treated to their first iOS firmware update. Aside from addressing a few hiccups, the main focus of iOS 5.0.1 was to fix ongoing battery bugs. Since the update released, there have been reports stating that battery performance has not improved. In fact, some reports are even claiming that things have gotten worse since installing the new software. Apple claims to be looking into these issues, but we’d like to hear from you guys and see how the update is treating you. With all of the focus on battery issues, it’s possible that other bugs are being overlooked. Be sure to let us know how iOS 5.0.1 is treating you and your phone.

I’m still getting the same lousy four hours of usage. At this point, I’m beyond annoyed. Now I’m mad.
If I were u I would take that phone back, a
nd try the galaxy..i promise u wont
Be disapointed.
The battery on my 4s seems to be about 60 percent better. Before the update I would leave the phone off the charger before I went to sleep and when I get up the battery would display 20% less. As of yesterday I did the same and I only lost 4% of the battery. Big difference!! The battery would drain very fast when playing a game and now I play the same exact game and again battery performing very well. Idk what some of u are experiencing but the update seems to be working great for me. Ps I also did the update on my wife’s iPhone 4 (which she was having the same problem) and it took care of the battery issue also.
My phone before the update lasted over a day now it nearly lasts half a day!!
Could be worse, you could be using and android phone with about 2 hours of usage instead.
