iOS 5.0.2 Update Delayed Due to Memory Leak?

Posted In News - By Mark Hearn On Tuesday, November 22nd, 2011 5:00am PDT With 5 Comments

With the recent introduction of iOS 5.0.1 failing to remedy plaguing battery life issues in iOS 5, the worldwide web has been flooded with talk of Apple throwing together a quick fix in the form of iOS 5.0.2. Spearheading these rumors was Germany-based Apple enthusiast blog  Macerkopf.de, which stated that the update would be coming to an iOS device near you sometime this week. However the blog seems to be changing their tune now.

Citing memory leaks as the culprit, they’re now stating that no clear release date is in sight. This news doesn’t quite bring the holiday cheer that some of you new iPhone owners were hoping for. However on a positive note, Apple has openly acknowledged this issue and is said to be working on a resolution. We’re just hoping that it’s not a New Year’s resolution.

I know that “There is no such thing as a perfect device only perfect for you.” That’s why I wrote “Everything in tech will always have something, even apple products as we all know and the iCrap as you all now begin to realize.” I don’t know why are you guys so sentimental now, I didn’t see you defending the Palm Pre or any Android devices when they had some type of problem. But since it’s the iCrap you take offense on anybody telling you the cold hard truth! PLEASE!!!
And by the way, I didn’t have cereal this morning and nobody would dare piss in it. Sorry if I pissed in yours with my post, but I wasn’t lying.
