iPhone 4S vs Epic 4G Touch

Posted In Featured, Polls - By Mark Hearn On Wednesday, November 2nd, 2011 6:27am PDT With 21 Comments

In terms of organic splendor, these two devices are about as good as it can get. Two incredible iconic smartphones, with two very different approaches. Without a doubt there’s also an unhealthy list of buzzwords here: A5, Exynos, Retina Dispay, Super AMOLED Plus, which can all be credited to clever marketing campaigns. However we already know that these two devices are cosmic juggernauts. The real brain buster here is, which phone is better and why? Feel free to share your thoughts and don’t be afraid to go into details on what led to your decision.

Apple needs to move to 4.5+ for me to even consider it. It’s just tiny right now.

    I used to think I wanted a big screen…but now I want a compact phone…I have grown tired of carrying a tablet..I mean phone…

Apples needs 4.5″ + screen and size and 4G for me to ever consider switching ha not , i have android it because it’s always consistantly better than iphone year in and year out if i wanted late technology i would have a 4S but i prefer cutting edge technology thats why I have android.

Hah. I carry around an Evo 4G, and a HD7 everyday, in the same pocket. Funny thing is, it doesn’t bother me one bit. You people need to upgrade to baggier jeans. Trade in the skinny jeans buddy.

Epic touch = bigger screen, faster processor, thinner, lighter, more ram , list goes on

Many of the pluses of the GSII have already been listed, but another is…there is no Siri on the GSII! I am not talking to my freakin’ phone!

I love the customization on my epic 4g touch, I downloaded adw launcher and sometimes switch between spb shell 3d. The big screen is so vibrant and rich. Also being a previous iphone user I love all the widgets. The camera is wonderful specially now I can switch out for bigger memory cards. I def. Find my android experience the best yet.

iPhone 4S. The Apps I want to use aren’t on Android, and the Retina display is easily the best display I’ve ever used. The only thing I like about the E4GT compared to the 4S is that it has faster internet (4G).

  9. a 4.0 inches device would be fine anything bigger than that should be called mini laptop. There will never be a 4.5 Iphone especially when they will release a mini Ipad of over 7 inches.

Hi guys..look, I bought into the hype and got an iphone on launch day, and after one week I returned it and got the gs2.. I am now convinced that the iphone is just a trendy device, and nothing else. If you want a cool device with soo much more android is the one. Apple wont let u do anything with their phone, when u do so much on android.

    looooooooool!!!

My Nexus S 4g can do all the things siri can do…just hold down the search button and a microphone should come up asking to set as default

  13. mexipino says:

both are very spectacular phones!! but i have had both the Motorola photon , iPhone 4s ,and the E4GT!! and the phone i am using is the E4GT… why because its faster” overclocked” and much more fun to look at on the web, games, etc, etc…and while on 4g my phone is way faster than any iPhone 4s!!!okay maybe not way faster but faster!!!but to each his own…when it comes down to it we all must admit we love speed!!

  14. Randall K says:

I have been trying to tell that to people for a long time!

  15. Anonymous says:

Funny maybe if I was a guy but I am not hence the name…MS RANDALL!!!!! So I will kept my skinny jeans thank you!!!

HAHA. Cool, a girl who actually comments on tech boards? Interesting.

Actually I don’t even wear that baggy of jeans, plus I’m thinking of upgrading to an Epic 4G Touch from my Evo. Then it’ll be an E4GT and a HD7 in the same pocket. Oh about your pants, skinny jeans look horrible. I liked the days when girls wore LEI flares, those were hot.

I’ve always said the iPhone was a girls phone, so it fits you. My wife likes her Evo 3D, so I guess some females have good taste. LOL

Or try VLingo, available for FREE in the Market. Siri-like assistant, which has been available on the market, under the radar, for a YEAR. Cool technology. I am loving VLingo right now and see no reason to switch to iPhone. GSII will be my next purchase.

  18. Hidxpress says:

i want my web os back, why did it have to be on a palm pre, it ruined the potential for a perfect os, wtf. but i want it to run android apps on a superior phone. yahoo will maybe try that once they own hp(hoping)

  19. Lbwrestlingiscool says:

if the iphone got a 4-4.5 inch screen and 4g then all the other o.s.’s would be bowing down and kissing apples feet.

  20. Weinerperson says:

stop trying to convince urself who the fuck wants a small screen u only like iphone cuz of the interface but the screen is shit motherfucker

  21. Weinerperson says:

what are u talking about carl u dont even hunt. who wants a smaller screen, the bigger the better and after 5 inches it is too much but if there was an iphone with a 4.52 inch screen and 4g it would be better
