Samsung Epic 4G Touch Software Fix Rolling Out Now

After recent speculation, the Samsung Epic 4G Touch is now receiving a software fix that address a nagging signal failure issue. Starting today, software version S:D710.0.5S.EK02 is said to be coming to an Epic Touch 4G near you. The over-the-air update is said to take approximately ten minutes and it’s recommended that your battery have a 50% charge or better when applying it.

If you don’t see any action right away, remember these things take time. Sprint states that the update’s reach should be at 100% within ten days. Of course if we happen to get hold of a verified download mirror, we’ll do our best to get something up for you guys. In the meantime, if you’re among the first batch to receive the update, please let us know how it’s treating you.

    Just did update at approx 5 min. My Baseband now says S:D710.10 S.EK02 with Android 2.3.6 and Kernel 2.6.35.7-SPH-D710.EK02-CL704398 Build Gingerbread.EK02 Hardware D710.10

    It tried to update on 2 different occasion and both times I got the android icon with the exclamation mark. The update failed

    Im having trouble with my wall paper on the new udate software for the epic 4g touch, theres only a portrait mode and the landscape mode is gone
