Nexus S 4G Android 4.0 Update Coming in a Few Weeks

Posted In News - By Mark Hearn On Friday, March 16th, 2012 8:11am PDT With 4 Comments

We’ve been hearing it, now Engadget is reporting it. Citing a “trusted source,” they’re claiming that Google hasn’t turned its back on the Nexus S 4G and that we can expect an Android 4.0 update in the next few weeks. Hopefully this won’t another Criss Angel Mindfreak like last time. Nexus S owners we’ll do some digging and see what we can come up with, but until we hear something, our fingers are crossed.

Oh boy…didn’t Google already say this, like back in November. I believe the exact words were “within 2 weeks of the Galaxy Nexus launch” that the Nexus S would receive ICS, which started, then stopped and no real reason was given.

I’m done with Android. The fragmentation nightmare (yes it’s real, don’t pretend it isn’t) is getting out of hand. Google can’t even control fragmentation on the ONE device line that they are supposed to have control over.

Either way, if it happens, great. If not, I don’t care.

Sounds good now just need a date. There is a rumor going around that the Gaxaly Nexus is due to come out on April 15. Just thinking because it comes with Android 4.0

I doubt it Sprint cant even be honest with their customers about a tower outage!! I have been without voice or data service 9 DAYS. Sprint first told me there was no problem with the towers repeatedly and had me replace the phone! Now I have it and we STILL have no reception!! Turns out a tower is out and they have known since last week doing nothing (of course. So trusting anything about sprints is kinda stupid!
